What keeps you and your practice moving forward in times of challenge and change? When your head or your heart needs a shot of something, it usually comes in the form of a new perspective.
That new perspective can come in the form of a quote, a story, a joke, or a song.
Here’s what I know– in the day to day management of your dental practice, it’s a good thing to draw upon the wisdom of the ages when you need an attitude adjustment. It just might be the thing you need to start your day (share selected quotes with Team in Morning), or, it might be a lifeline on those days when you feel like throwing in the towel on your dream.
I want to share with you a number of pearls that have helped me regain some proper perspective:
The bitterness of poor workmanship remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
– Longfellow
Focus on what you can do , not what you could do if conditions were perfect.
– LeBlanc
You can always take another step.
– Judith (on the Camino)
You will do amazing things!
– Megon McDonough
If everyone lit a candle, we could turn the darkest night into the brightest day.
-Og Mandino
Today, people have the means to live, but no meaning to live for.
– Victor Frankl
Take one of these and write it down on a post-it note and let it be a reminder for you over the next thirty days.
Continued Success!
