There's the temptation to be hard on ourselves. In fact, we humans (especially the adult variety) are the best at it. We know our faults, our shortcomings, and our inclinations to do the opposite of what we know we should. Worse, we're painfully aware of our shortfalls that others, thankfully, are oblivious to!
Why? Because we spend enormous time and energy to hide our flaws for fear that we will be seen as imperfect, an imposter.
You and I are not the first to wrestle with this. Give up the idea that you have to be perfect all the time or that you can convince every patient to comply with your recommendations. We are all flawed human beings. We all come up short from time-to-time!
And that's okay!
Continued Success to you and your Team!
Sincerely,
Art Deden
